Dr. Tsu-Chin Tsao won the Henry M. Paynter Outstanding Investigator Award at 2018 ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Conference for his seminal contributions in feedforward, repetitive, and adaptive control areas and their applications.

The Mechatronics and Controls Laboratory is engaged in the creation and advancement of multiple academic curriculum courses at the undergraduate level. To highlight this work and help disseminate useful classroom materials, we have added an Education page.

We are glad to welcome the addition of a new student for this academic year: Matt Gerber (PhD). Matt is a Master’s graduate of The Ohio State University where he studied Microbial Fuel Cells. At UCLA, Matt intends to study Manufacturing & Design and has a research interest in robotics and mechatronics.
